A beautiful bookend Liberty Leading the People which drawn inspiration from a painting by Eugène Delacroix (1798-1863) commemorating the July Revolution of 1830. The woman with the Phrygian cap personifies the concept of Liberty.

The edge of the bookend presents an elevation of the Pavillion Sully of le Louvre in front of the Pyramid designed by the Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei,.
