A stunning bookend The Seated Scribe presenting the famous statue shown in the museum Le Louvre.
This bookend is presented in the gift store of the museum and available at the website boutiquesdemusees.fr
The bookend The Seated Scribe drawns inspiration in the famous egyptian statue (2600-2350 BC) found in Saqqara in 1850. It presents a sitting cross-legged scribe holding a papyrus scroll and a reed pen (now missing) in his hands.
This model of bookend has been specially designed by the Art of Bookend for the Rmn-Gp (Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais) the public cultural establishment subordinated to the French Minister for Culture and Communication. This structure manages 35 museums in Paris and in France, events and exhibitions.
