The Bookends Leonardo da Vinci and Mona Lisa depict through an original composition the italian genius painting Lisa Gherardini, today known as Joconde, who was the wife of the florentin merchant Franceso del Giocondo. The oil on canvas was painted at the beginning of the XVI century.
Today presented in the gallery of the museum Le Louvre, this is the most demanded work of art by visitors.
