Bookend Pierre and Marie Curie

The unique bookends Pierre and Marie Curie featuring the famous physicians in their laboratory.

These stunning bookends Pierre and Marie Curie from the Poland serie present the famous physicians working in their laboratory.
Marie Curie is featured seated in front the piezoelectric quartz electrometer developped by her husband Pierre Curie. This latter stands in front the electroscope he also designed. The french-polish physician remains the lonely woman to have been awarded twice the Nobel Prize.
