The Mozart bookends feature the genius of Classic music Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart better known as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Born in Salzburg, Austria, in 1756, he died in 1791 in Vienna at the young age of 35. He left for posterity an impressive and huge repertoire of more than 600 works.
The musician is shown playing on his fortepiano built by the piano maker Anton Walter.
